Well the test models are going into the vat this weekend. I like the colors, but I don’t like the technique–too much drybrushing and it looks terrible up close.
I’ll probably stick with a very similar color scheme as I like the dark gray/red look, but instead of drybrushing I’ll be using proper blending techniques although it’ll take me longer to paint.
I’ll probably move to a scab red/scar red (depending on vendor) base for the red instead of the Foundation red base to darken it up further.
With my free-time schedule the last thing I can do is paint as my feet are sore and I’m ready for bed when I get home the last few weeks at 11pm (or later).
However at the end of November I have many, many plans for this army.
