I’ve got 4 Heavy Stubber turrets replacing the standard guardsman coming out of the hatch with the Men-At-Arms bodies and heads. I’ve still got some conversions to do to help the vehicles blend in a bit better, but this is a first step.
On a personal note, I freaking hate the Imperial Guard Tank Track sprue. I felt like I wanted to pull my hair out after installing tracks on 3 Chimera class vehicles. I’ve got two Russes still to do by Saturday, but I may forgo that and just deal with it (as they’re not painted anyways for the tournament).
The more I work on the army as my momentum builds, the more excited I get seeing the models blend together. I can’t wait to paint the vehicles (but that’ll happen after I get the command squad, two platoons and an armor fist squad painted).
I unfortunately had to order some Vehicle Accessory sprues to help with the consistency of my models (as three of my vehicles had the old sprue, and I really prefer the new dozer blade).
