It’s early in the night and it’s almost dinner time, so I wanted to post some of my work between work and dinner.
I’ve drilled holes for magnets for the flying stands and placed the magnets, drilled holes for support beams for the bow of the raiders.
Before my work in progress was just glued somewhat precariously on the bow–now there’s an aluminum rod that binds the two together.
I’ve got 5 basic raiders about 40-50% done. My original test model now has the support beam holding the bow on, and I’ve placed a test cut of the sails that will be placed on the raiders….not glued or even cut to fit properly (as the mast isn’t even glued in, as I want to get the measurement and cut the rest of the masts before I do that).
