I’ll be using the exact same bases for my Dark Eldar as I’m using for my Biel-Tan Eldar for a variety of reasons.
- I really like the bases
- When I play apocalypse and have them allied, they’ll look more uniformed.
- Easy to Paint
- I really like the bases
But wait, I have “I really like the bases” there twice….. well, it was important enough to put on the list twice 😀
I do have still quite a few still painted and ready, but with the new influx of 50-60 models to be painted and based I needed to make another order, as I only had maybe 20-30 in stock. I should have them next week.
This won’t stop me from painting my current, new dark eldar kabalite warriors, but it’ll delay painting my trueborn warriors & bloodbrides as I’ll want to paint them on the bases, and all my current bases are already painted.
Tonight should be the first installment of the painting of either the new kabalites or Lelith. I haven’t decided which I want to attack, both will be painting challenges.
On a side note: The Open Wargaming Society and System are dead (again), thank you for what little interest there was. It was an interesting thought exercise for me, but there was just too little (dismally so) interest in such things.
