Lelith Hesperax

The first of my new wave of Dark Eldar.

It’s all speed painting as all I’m looking for is “is it good enough for the table?”

But here she is–without the Native American skin tone she had before I stripped her (there’s a S&M joke or reference there).

The skin was simple:

1. Space Wolf Gray
2. A Wash with Delvan Mud
3. Highlight again with Space Wolf Gray
4. Highlight slightly with Bone White

The hair was also quite simple

1. Malachite Red (GW Foundation) as a base
2. Drybrush with Blood Red (I used VMC Bloody Red)
3. Wash with Delvan Mud
4. Re-drybrush very lightly with Malachite Red

And exactly what I was looking for–monochromatic flesh. Much like Chiana from Farscape.

And at this point all that’s not done is the final Matte Coat–the can was too cold to spray tonight.
