My Miniature Wargaming New Year’s Resolution

January 2, 2011 | Reading time: 1 minutes

I’m going to concentrate on two things this year: Warmachine/Hordes and Warhammer 40k.

  • On the Wahammer 40K side, I’m setting out to completely paint and finish all my Craftworld Eldar models. This is a HUGE AMOUNT of models that are both still on sprue or in blisters or boxes. I can’t even begin to guess how many points I have but I’m very sure it’s easily over 10K.
  • On the Warmachine/Hordes side I just started Skorne by making my first order yesterday. We’re set for 15 points at the local build up until February. Since this will be my only purchases over the next few months, I should be able to get back on my feet financially this year.

On my non-MWG side I have a few New Year’s resolutions (I don’t have any vices, with the possible exception of my MWG hobby):

  • To be the best husband and dad I can be, but this is a given and goes without saying
  • To finally work on my music again and possibly release an album. It’s been over 11 years since I’ve released anything musically and I’d  really like to express myself again.
