DeathWing: The Start of Masochism! (and a neat tool if you’ve not seen one!)

Ok I’ve disarmed and cleaned (mostly) my trade with Evil Homer (thank you thank you!). I’ve added a purchased box of close combat terminators mainly for the bitz I’ll need for the planned DeathWing army.

At 1500 points I’ve got 4 units of Terminators (including Belial’s upgraded group)… now the question goes…. should I create a 5th group (my current all-rounders will be: Seargeant with twin lightning claws, termie with twin lightning claws, 2 termies with storm shield & thunderhammer, and 1 termie with storm shield, thunderhammer and cyclone missile launcher), or have that 5th group an ‘sidelined’ set of terminators with varying options such as a storm bolter & chainfist for tank popping role if the all-rounder needs a little more flexibility?

I’ll probably just create the 4 groups and leave the others be until I make up my mind.

However. Introducing (for you non-locals) the Gauthic War-Stick™

I now have 2 versions: one for 25mm bases, and one for 40mm (TERMINATOR!) bases.

What I do is put this stick in front of whichever base it’s designed for and move from front-to-back making sure the model is firmly placed (and the stick doesn’t move). This measures the movement of the model exactly 6″. The “L” or the “T” of the WarStick™ is for measuring standard 2″ coherency. Anything out of that range is out of coherency (this is awesome for getting as out-of-template formation as possible).

That’s it for now!

Note: the trademark is for fun, feel free to make your own! 😀
