June 4th was my first “my boat” regatta at the Wichita Falls Sailing Club. It was a beautiful day despite the lack of wind, my wife Kim and I crewed Flash. Seven boats entered, but due to such light winds only two were able to complete - mostly out of sheer luck of getting the a breath of southward wind.
We were able to complete about a third of the course, until we just didn’t have enough wind to tack around the first buoy.
